     top award for        accountancy

 A Medway accountant scooped a top award  for his work.

    Rob Taylor, company director at Taylor &  Co Accountants won the Corporate Livewire  2015 award for accountancy.

    The family-run business, based in  Gillingham High Street, provides a one-to-  one service at affordable prices.

    Mr Taylor, who has more than 30 years of  experience in the field, joined his father's  practice in London after leaving school and  spending seven years in banking.

    He took over the business in 2004 and ran  it from his home until he relocated in  October last year. His wife, Xiufen, is also  his business partner.

    Mr Taylor said: "It was a surprise to us to  be notified that we had been nominated for  the award and to win it was out of this  world."
